RRD 2.25" IFP Shock
R28 885
The RRD 2.25” IFP shock's fluted aluminum body gives the advantages of weight reduction and cooling capacity without sacrificing strength. The fluting provides the structure required to ensure the aluminum cylinders are as strong as, if not stronger than their steel counterparts. The shock bodies are also treated with a military grade hard anodized coating to minimize wear and never corrode or oxidize. Double redundant sealing techniques are used at all critical seal surfaces. That means two shaft O-rings, two compression seals, two top cap O-rings with one hard shaft scraper. Two high quality DU bearings ensure the shaft is always concentric to the critical seals on the massive ¾” 17-4 PH Stainless, Hard Chrome Plated and Polished Shaft. A billet aluminum valve circuit with two stage valve stacks controls the dampening. The shock oil is formulated for fade-free dampening and smooth vehicle control. Its high viscosity index and shear stability controls shock fade. The wear band is made from solid Teflon to handle extreme temperatures without failure and minimizing shock body wear. The internal floating piston (IFP) separates the Argon from the shock oil so dampening duties are extremely consistent. All end caps and shock eyelets are made from billet 6061 Aluminum for a no compromise construction.
All these features combine to make the RRD 2.25” IFP Shock a fraction of the weight of the competitions 2.25” steel body counterparts and cool twice as fast for fade resistant performance. All RRD Shocks come with a 6 month Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

2.625" FCD Shock — Fast Compression Damping Adjustment
The RRD 2.625" Remote Reservoir with Fast CD Adjusting Shocks feature a fluted aluminum body that delivers a remarkable weight reduction without compromising strength. This makes it the lightest remote reservoir shock in its class, while also providing a surface area larger than many 3" bodied shocks, improving cooling efficiency. The fluting enhances the structural integrity of the aluminum cylinders, ensuring they are just as strong—if not stronger—than steel 2.50" shock bodies. To prevent corrosion and minimize wear, the shock bodies are treated with a military-grade hard anodized coating, offering long-lasting protection.
The Fast Compression Damper Adjustment Shock is built for tuneability and ease of adjustment. This shock lets you quickly and easily adjust compression dampening adding up to 30% more compression dampening with infinite settings.
These shocks come equipped with a high-quality DU bearings and a massive 1" 17-4 PH hardened stainless steel with a hard chrome plated and polished shaft. The hard anodized billet aluminum valve circuit, combined with multi stage valving, offers precise damping control. Redundant sealing technology ensures the shock oil stays where it should be. The specially formulated shock oil with its high viscosity index and shear stability provides fade-free damping. Additionally, a custom solid Teflon piston wear band significantly reduces shock body wear even at extreme temperatures. These cutting-edge features make the 2.625" Remote Reservoir Shock not only lighter than competing 2.5" steel-bodied shocks but also twice as fast at cooling, ensuring fade-resistant performance. Plus, all RK shocks come with a 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
